Well, i've owned the car for a full year now, and my mileage for the whole year is:
37.8 mpg, or 6.2L/100km. This is definitely lower than i was hoping when I bought the car, but here are a few factors which I think contributed to it being so high:
1. Weather = Gets damn cold here in the winter. That means that the hybrid car isn't running at it fullest potential. Also I usually preheat my car for about 5 minutes before getting in when it's really cold, and idling like that that has a horrible effect on your mileage.
2. Lip kit / Spoiler = extra weight, and i doubt the spoiler is helping with my fuel economy at all.
3. Tires/Wheels = I dont even have my stock tires anymore. My stock wheels go with my winter tires which i imagine are a fair bit heavier than my stock tires. For summer I have 15lb Enkei wheels, and while that is lighter than the 17lb pie plate wheel, it is not as aerodynamic. Also the tires I use in the summer are BFG Sport tires, i imagine they weigh something nice and also increase friction.

Overall, i've said it before and I'll say it again: Honda Civic hybrid not recommended for places that have seriously cold winters.
