The RWD volvo guys use it a lot and love it.

I can't see this working though unless you completely replaced the stock ECU, which would mean pretty much gutting the car since everything is run by it. The stock ECU needs to be in control of everything or else it's going to go insane. Without all of the engines sensors connected, it would highly doubt it would even work the throttle properly, nevermind the electric power steering, traction control, and so on.
