DIY - WINGLESS SI!! how to remove the Si wing + cover the holes

This is my first DIY so be easy on me..

Materials used

7 rubber plugs to cover up the holes from the trunk (I bought 6 coz i thought theres only 6 holes in the trunk but im damn wrong, there are 7, so i ended up going back to ace hardware to buy another rubber plug)
Touch up paint (optional - a must have if you want the plug in to match the color of your car)
Clear RTV silicone to seal properly the holes from inside the trunk and make sure it doesnt leak
cardboard (optional - for painting purpose)

Tools needed

10mm socket the regular one and youll also need a deep socket

JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND BE PATIENT, THIS IS NOT HARD AT ALL TO DO, OK HERE WE GO.

Rubber plug in that i bought from ace hardware and my touch up paint FBP

I decided to do the painting first, so paint will have enough time to dry and ready to put in after i remove the wing

OK THE FUN PART BEGINS, time to remove the wing

First stop disconnect the 3rd brake light

remove the middle nut that holds the wing with the 10mm extended socket

now remove the 2 bolt on each side of the wing

now you should be able to pull the wing, watch the middle where the wires of the 3rd brake light and carefully pull it out and then after that the wing should come off

NOW YOUR SI is wingless and your left with the holes!

DAMN BIRD LEFT HIS CRAP ON MY CAR

YOUR ALMOST DONE !!!! now clean your trunk, you can wax it if you want to then get the rubber plug in that you ve painted and put them in

time to use the clear silicone to seal the rubber plug in from the inside of the trunk. to make sure it wont leak!

WAHHHHHLA YOUR DONE !!!!

it looks wierdo without wing, my car have HFP suspension and i think if my car sits a lil bit lower it will look much better without the wing.

inspired by the Official Si wingless club!! so i decided to try it out and see it for myself how my Si will look like without the wing....

i didnt filled the holes and used the rubber plug in instead so whenever i decided to put my wing back in i wont have any problem doing it so...

THANK YOU FOR CHECKING MY DIY
i hope this help you guys
