I tried to do it on my spare key with my weak soldering skills, I failed.

My brief success was when I was able to solder the wires (all 4 connections), hold and push the PCB against the TL/MDX battery, press the button and it worked. It went downhill from there.

I tried re-arrange the button, but soldering points on the PCB that the button were connected to CAN come off, so be careful. I was using a 25W solder, maybe that was too much.
