Hey everyone! I have been a long time Honda MC rider...now finally a Honda car driver. Last week I picked up my 2009 EX Coupe in RBP.
I got 27.3 mpg out of the first tank!
I really debated on buying the Si vs the EX. I even considered the VW GTI, or a R32.
In the end I decided to keep my '99 M Roadster and get a EX for daily driving. I had a '04 Audi A6 2.7T for 3 years as my daily driver. Awesome car! Quiet as hell, and great handling considering the size. The car was fairly quick too. The downside to the car was replacing all 4 tires every 12-15K miles. 16mpg if I was lucky and easy on the car.
I drove the m Roadster as a daily driver all last year. The ride is stiff...probably more stiff than a Si. The mileage was around 17 mpg. I have owned the car for 10 years, and it has gone through a spirited 47K miles. I just put the 5th set of tires on it last month! A great little car, and one I will probably keep for ever...only 10K of these were sold in the US during the 5 years of production.
The EX fits my daily driver needs perfectly. And, the price was right
