You are assuming that Nissan did test and ship cars which are identical to the stock cars currently offered in the US. Therefore, Porsche must be "make(ing) a completely baseless statement, then droves of people take their word for it. It's ridiculous."
Nissan says the car was stock, you are taking their word for it. Porsche is saying the car was not stock based on the car they got ahold of. Some people are taking Porsche's word for it. Same thing. You just have a problem with one of them....when you get it......you'll.........you get the rest.
