The thing that people don't understand is,
it's not just Nurburgring times. The GT-R has spanked the Porsche Turbo across numerous third-party tests. Which makes this whole "Nissan cheated ZOMG" so ridiculous.
You're so quick to believe that the GT-R is a whopping 25 seconds slower than the Porsche on the ring. You say Nissan has no evidence of getting the time (save for a video capping the whole thing). But Porsche has NO evidence that Nissan used slicks either, and yet you take their word for it. It just shows a bias against the GT-R, and has zero grounds to be true.
Since people seem to love unsupported claims, you know what, my Civic Si is 25 seconds faster than a Porsche on the 'ring. I have nothing to show for it, but because I think it should be faster, it is.
