Sold.
I bought this car in
October of '08. It had 32,544 on the odometer when I drove off the lot. The car had been modified at some point and partially put back to stock. NO worries, I did the same with my SI. But my SI was traded in much better condition than this Z was.
June '10. The days of the fun RWD 2 seater are over for me for now. I needed more car as my lifestyle is changing and demands on me call for something more practical. She's going back to stock and going up for sale. Bye, Zoe. You were fun but it just wasn't working for me.
Here we are, October '08:
The mods were '05 Anniversary wheels; a hideous, badly painted, installed with wood screw, fiberglass, knock off Vertex side skirts; mystery rotors, a Borla Catback, DC Headers and something that resembled an intake.
Well, that got changed by March '09 when I installed a JWT popcharger and replaced the failed clutch and flywheel with a set from JWT.
Better engine bay.
Crappy roads in VA with flying debris means bandaid mod
Added a new Pioneer HU.
Later that month, I fixed the hideous side skirt issue and gave my car a better antenna.
I got back from Kuwait in
July '09 to my husband telling me he wanted a divorce. Well, long story short, I put a lot of emotion, effort, energy and time into fixing a car that had sat a little too long. After doing a few things here and there, I took the car out for some pictures at the old Bethlehem Steel Plant in Bethlehem, PA while visiting my dad.
January '10
While up in Jersey visiting my family for New Years, I fell victim to a scam artist posing by the name Anthony Schweib who offered to fix my hood. Well, my bad, shoulda known better but I was trying to be trusting for new years. Long story short, I was left with a jacked up hood.
Well, that forced me to spend even more money to fix my hood.
Being as between getting a divorce, moving, and ending up unemployed for a while, I came up with one cheap hobby. I've been working on a pretty engine bay. Its a slow process but I'm pleased so far.

New Stance:
She might look stock but she isn't. The only things that gives me away (or so I've been told) are the fat 275s on the rear and the sound of the car. I've been told she sounds "amazing", "Great", "awesome", and "what the hell is done to that thing!?" from another Z owner. A few techs and mechs believe the car is cammed which goes back to a lot of work that was done by the previous owner, a very slight cam lope at idle, and a few other things that people have said/wonder. I don't know. I'm not about to open the motor up and find out. Cams in a Z are a *****. If anyone who has been in or worked on my car (there are a few on here) want to chime in on the cam thing, please go right on ahead. All I do know is I love my car and while I miss the beauty of my gorgeous FBP FG2, I prefer the performance and potential of my Z more.
