So ridiculous. GT2 posts a time by Porsche, nobody cries foul. GT-R posts a time by Nissan, people cry for accountability.

Chadillac: ALL timed Nurburgring runs are from a running start. You're taking the quote "Convention dictates that timed laps should be set from a standing start" completely out of context. Porsche starts with a running start, Dodge did with the ACR, GM did. It's the standard. If you're going to bash the time, at least familiarize yourself with how time-attacks are done on the ring.

Third party track results confirm that it beats the GT2. I guess Top Gear is owned by Nissan? Give it a break.
