basic story: if you can't afford premium gas you shouldn't drive a Si, if you have no choice but to fill up 87 its ok once in a while but in the long run you are gonna mess up your car from engine knocking and other things
i live in vancouver and i dont kno wat the actual difference is between canada and the states in terms of prices, but i would only save $7 per tank filling in regular (87 octane) as compared to supreme plus (94 octane). i could save approx $1.5 by filling in supreme (92 octane) but i decided to get 94 as it is the best bang for my buck
