You know it's really not that hard to pull out the dash panels and the stock radio. It's only a couple bolts and then it all just pulls apart. Do you have the nav dash panel yet? I'd say the only way to figure out exactly how much depth you are going to have is to install the nav dash and measure how much depth you got.

If the mobo is 7x7, you might be better off putting the cables out the side, probably the vent side. It might save a lil space, if it fits that way.
The only problem with having the wires go out the side is the dimensions no longer work. If you only have 5.5" depth then if you turn the board on the side then u go over like 2 inches which from what i can see will kill me.....

I'm thinking about saying screw it and running it to my trunk. I don't see much gain having it in the dash. I thought about it for a little bit and realized there isn't much to gain from it. It would be easier to steal and have less ventalization...
