Alright so I got a ticket for speeding, and as he was writing me up for that he decided to also write me up for having my front windows tinted (Cali). So about half way through I thought to mabye do a DIY. I know alot of people probibly know this but just in case some one does not here it goes. This is my first DIY.
First, you need these things, Lacquer thinner, windex, some old rags, and a razor blade.
Next roll the window about 3/4th the way down so you can see where the tint ends on the very top of the window.
Next take the razor blade and peel the top part off. It is best to start on the top left corner. I was not that far over due to I wanted to show a pic of what to do.

Peel the tint off by hand and roll up the window as you pull more and more off until the tint, the the thing that made your car look really good is off.

Next take the Lacquer Thinner drinch the rag in it, and start the pain staking project of getting the glue off the window. As you do this remember each time you apply the Lacquer Thinner to flip the rag or use a new one due to when you apply it the glue sticks to the rag. If you use that side again it will just go right back on the winow. Every now and then use the windex on the areas where the glue has been removed to clean it up a bit. The first time you apply the Lacquer Thinner it will look a little like this.

Eventually you will be done, about an hour or so, a headache from the Lacquer Thinner, and a buch of smelly rags later, your car will look lame like mine with no front tints. By the way my car is really dirty.
Hope this helps some people who might have to do this and dont know how.
