The hoodprop side is maybe a mm higher than the non-hoodprop side... I wouldn't have noticed it until you mentioned something... could have something to do with the fact that there's a little bit of pressure on it from the strut, but it's definitely not something that I would've noticed unless I looked for it.

I'd expect there's a little bit of "give" in the Honda hinge and since you have the regular hood strut with an aftermarket hood with a bit more "give" that it's a little more exaggerated.

Like I said, I wouldn't have noticed anything until you said something.
