I did an oil analysis running AMSOIL TSO 0w30 for 9500 miles and it was sparkling. Now I'm running SSO 0w30 for 15k miles. I expect it to be sparkling as well.
The only way to say Mobil 1 EP is not as good would be to now run Mobil 1 EP for 15k miles and compare. But I don't want to do that to my baby.
She loves AMSOIL, Pennzoil Platinum and, of all things, Supertech 5w30 full synthetic. It's a tangible difference.

Yes there are cases where Amsoil does great in oil analysis. So does mobil 1 EP and regular mobil 1.
However, none has been as consistent as PP though.
I'm not saying Amsoil is bad, I just don't see enough evidence to go for Amsoil instead of Mobil 1.
