combustion engines work like this:gases mixes with cold air to for a mixture(the fuel air mixture) that is ignited by the spark plug in the combustion chamber and it psuhes the pistons up and down which makes the car run. what the intake does is it pushes more cooler air into the combustion chamber.

if the intake, such as Injen's CAI, is installed and there is no CEL...how would you know if it is installed correctly or if it isnt if the flow sensor isnt turning the CEL on in any situation. that means i could just install the Injen CAI by just reading the instructions (hell that means i could even skip some steps) and end up thinking that i installed it correctly just because the CEL doesnt come up and my car is roaring.

i like the aem cai becuase if the CEL comes up, that means something is wrong and i installed it half-assed and i need to fix it to get reach maximum efficiency.

this is my 2 cents but i would just go with the AEM.

never the less, i recommend the K&N filter for any cai's.

FLAME ON!
(i know it coming)
