if you do paint them do everything in your power to keep paint out of the insides of the bolts...the paint will get on the threads and make really fn hard to get the bolts back off...also i would clear coat the snot out of them and put multiple coats.. cause when you put them on they mostly likey will scratch so more layers the better...good luck

Mine are painted red...I would also bake them after painting them
