Do not tap into your O2 sensor wires. It will cause resistance to go up in the wiring causing the voltages to change causing the readings that the ECU sees as being something different than it's supposed to. The voltages are how the ECU determines what AFR the car should be running at. This will cause serious problems with your fuel trims and stuff. Never cut or splice or repair O2 sensor wiring. If you damage wires or something ALWAYS replace the entire sensor.
