I respectfully disagree. I have driven both Cobalts and Aveo: the quality is quite dissimilar. The Aveo is horrid. The Cobalt may not be the prettiest or well-thought out interior in the world, but it is quite solid and quiet. Infinitely more so than the Aveo.
The Civic is much better designed. It's layout more intuitive and driver-oriented. They actually put great thought into it. However, while the materials are great looking and to the touch, mine has not held up well at all. There have been numerous rattles, plastic scratching over next to nothing, the door panel clips have broken multiple times, and the awesome cloth looks almost three times its age despite my meticulous care and concern of the car.
It's apples to oranges. Honda does better executing cars, but they aren't free of the problems that plague domestic ones, I don't think.

Actually, the up-level wing is an option now. The standard one is the low level one.
