yea. i just read this on bimmer forums. they might be back as soon as the end of this year however since the budget is going to get reworked. but refs from what i heard know a lot of stuff and do a check on your car that is A LOT more extensive than just a smog shop. such as visual inspection of parts, noise tests, sniff...just everything. i just hope this stops people getting pulled for a header or such to a lesser extent.
