i just got my hfp and installation for 700 total. friggin car rides A LOT stiffer. didnt notice it at first, but after i went over a couple of bumps and especially speed bumps, i could feel the difference. my friend who is running a koni/ground control coilover kit on his e36 told me my car felt like his car at near full stiff. as for handling there is a difference that i can definitely feel. i am running yokohama s.drive at 225/45/17 and when i take turns i can now actually feel the tires gripping instead of my entire body rolling. in other words, there is a better feel on my steering wheel as well as feeling of connection to the road. the backstreets i usually have to drive on when i go home is where i currently just tested my car on and my car definitely feels and corners with a lot more ease.
as far as looks go, the car definitely got lowered since the gap is now 2 finger gaps, while before it was 3. dont really see it though.
so in closing. id say this kit is great if you dont have the cash to get adjustable or are waiting for more options ('cough' KONI) to come out. but be warned. this suspension is really unforgiving. if you go over bumps a lot or have roads that have a lot of uneven or bumpy areas get ready to test your body. because it seems to me this suspension just make you feel all of it.
will update next week when i get my progress sway bar with new brackets and volk ce28n's in.
wonder how much lighter wheels can do for me.
