I reused the old gasket when I installed my JDM valve cover. A honda mechanic who helped me with the install said since the car only has 15K on it, the gasket is still good. Its when the gasket is old, torn up and cracking that you replace it. I also used some silicon around the edge and 10K later, nothing is leaking and everything is perfect. (he told me if it ever starts leaking, he will come over and install a new one) I don't think that its gonna be an issue tho.

You can get a new gasket if you want, your choice.
