There are a few options for this install.
I used an old pair of headphones, cut the cord close to the headset and spliced that wire into the aux plug behind the shifter.
The cable was fed through a slot in under the rear cubby hold (on the centre console, right behind the shifter) and it's nice and long... I've been look for pictures I had, but non are here, I can upload some later.
Nice thing with using the headphone cord, once you strip it... red, green black, solder some thick paper clips to each wire, heat shrink wrap, and insert into the corresponding colour hole on the aux port. The other end already has your male plug to attach to whater device you want.
Put a paper clip in pin 5 & 6, voila, you can switch between aux and cd.
Good to go.
