I couldn't afford braces for my kid's teeth but why not the car?

I agree that it would probably look cleaner without the rods but that is a large area to catch air and I guarantee that it would flex downward without the support rods. I could tell that before I attached rods by pressing down in the middle. It wasn't cheap and I don't want to find out that it's cracking from flexing too much.
