His problem is because the intake is not properly positioned and has nothing to do with the K&N oil.
His intake is physically rubbing the brake lines by the fluid reservoir and is transmitting that vibration to the pedals. He needs to adjust the intake tube position is all.
Also, oiled filters function just fine with our car and all MAF equipped cars. The trouble is, people often OVER-OIL them and potentially gum up their sensors. When re-oiled properly, they work just fine.
