The bracing ideology in Japan is known as Gacchiri Support (translated as Muscle Strength) because it's meant to add rigidity to this typically weak area.
They are used extensively in racing in Japan for many many models.
If you have installed any other bracing on the car (such as lower arm bars) this would be a nice compliment and offers benefits over other bracing such as:
-No lost ground clearance as it mounts under the fender
-Triangluates support for a weak area in the MIDDLE of the chassis as opposed to directly on top or on bottom like strut bars/lower arm bars.
Many Honda Fit owners report improvements upon installing such bracing. I'm putting the GT-Spec bars on my Fiance's Fit Sport soon
