You should be fine as long as you put a little spirit into your turning. If you drive 100 miles a day on the freeway, you might see some extra inside shoulder wear, but it won't be much. Think of it this way, -1 in the rear is what it is set at from the factory. Are you running camber bolts in the front? If you are, they can slip and thats probably what the tech is referring to. Get some nylon locking nuts and some locktite. It will be tought to get off, but should help with the slipage. Camber plates can slip too but their is nothing I know of to prevent it.
