the fairing wont angle down any more than what it is in that picture due to the aero bars. when i had the regular bars on there it laid at the same angle as the windshield.
i made a trip up to atlanta, and used over 3 tanks of gas to get up there with bikes on the roof... on the way down, i put the bikes in the trunk and used around a tank and a half..... using the rack is practical if you are only driving short distances and around town... highway driving is a different story.
i just took it off because i didnt use it as much as i used too. i just throw my bike in the trunk.
