usually the color match is close enough where the painter can blend it and it wont b noticeable. as for the garage i think its your call. leaving it in the sun might even out the fade but that takes lots of time. leaving it in the garage will protect the paint from birds falling trees rain and carts. lol
the main thing to look for when you get it back is the shop mistakes like panel misalignment, overspray, scratches that misterously appeared, clear coat imperfections or damage to the interior. unless the painter is terrible or doesnt blend, there should be no problem with the color match.
