If it were for a ship the ship would have to be around the size of an aircraft carrier and have a diesel engine. All large ships, at least for the Navy use jet turbines for propulsion, except carriers where they use a nuclear powerplant. Usually LM2500 jet turbines. Also I've crawled up inside a diesel engine that was made for CAT's (on a U.S. Navy Frigate) and the size of the turbos are only about the size of somebody's head. I'm not really sure what that turbo would be used for unless it was to make a world record of the largest turbo...
