I used a 14mm box end wrench on the tensioner pulley (black pulley basically just below the idler pulley) and slipped the handle of my floor jack over it for extra leverage and pull towards the front of the car. This releases the tension allowing you to slip the belt off of one of the other pulleys. Then gently release the tensioner pulley. Don't put your fingers between a pulley and the belt when you have force applied to the tensioner pulley bolt because if your wrench slips you could crush your fingers!
