Just wanted to add a comment from a different perspective altogether...

Those of you with "Lambo" style doors (or wanting to get them) -- have you thought for just a moment WTF you personally would do in the unfortunate event of a rollover crash? A rollover crash where the car stays on the roof.

There you are, conscious and excited to have lived through a horrific wreck. But you find yourself hanging upside down (because hey you wear seatbelts) in the seat. You smell smoke and see a small fire from the engine compartment. No problem, you unhook your belt and throw open the car door to flee to safety. Wait, what's that? Your doors won't open ? Oh that's right you put those wicked cool vertical doors on your car despite the fact that luxo car manufacturers have stopped making their cars with those doors for safety of life issues when the vehicle is in a rollover crash. And now you're a witness to your own sadly painful death by fire. The end.

By the way, death by fire is one of the most horrific ways to go. I was first on scene at an accident where the steering wheel had trapped a lady in her Ford Ranger seat. Fire. Screaming. No extinguisher - lots of factors added to her horrible death. We couldn't get her out of that truck.

Just some thoughts - and I know we all feel invincible sometimes. Me personally... I'm not wanting to add any more to Death's hand in the game. I'll keep my factory doors thankya very much.

Good morning!
