it'll run fine without it. you probably wont notice it driving. only during tuning really(where you need it to be stable for viewing/tuning). i can't see the pictures you posted but the orifice i'm talking about is a little brass piece with a tiny hole in it. if you remove your map sensor (on top of your throttle body) you just shove it in there(it will only go in one way), then use the provided washer and screw it back down ( i didn't use the washer, but it tells you to.)

without it you in theory should get erratic MAP readings during datalogging under boost. as its made to smooth out the MAP readings.
