[I Vtec, do you?]

So I'm at blue rocket's site ordering the tailight overlays and I decided to get the 'objects in mirror appear to be losing' stickers for the mirror. I went outside to check what the lettering on the mirrors already were and found out the "object in mirror are closer.." isn't a sticker, it's printed right on the mirror.

Question is, is there anyway to remove that? Rubbing alcohol or anything? I'm not going to buy the sticker if I can't remove the black lettering underneath it.
