I have a installation tip that saves you from lowering the subframe to get the OEM exhaust manifold out and removing the valve cover to get the Turbo in. Unfortunately I don't have any pics but I'll do my best to describe it.
1- There's no need to lower the subframe to get the OEM exhaust manifold out. Just unbolt the bracket that holds the shift cables and unbolt the bracket that holds the first O2 sensor wire. Doing this frees up enough space to wiggle the OEM exhaust manifold out, trust me this is how I got my manifold out.
2- There's no need to remove the valve cover to get the turbo in. Since you have to remove the trim where the windsheild washer jets are and the metal plate underneath it to change spark plugs, I suggest doing this right away before you start your install. Doing this frees up a considerable amount of space to get your hands to the back of the enigine bay for heat wraping and etc. The trim has 3 external clips to remove then carfully pry it up and away, don't forget to disconnect the windsheild washer hose. The metal plate has a total of 7 bolts all in sizes of 10mm & 12mm which are plainly visible. Once this is removed, installing the turbo from the right hand side carefully moving some of the hose's and wire harness' is a peice of cake. This is how I got my turbo in and it seemed to be the easyiest way.
Hope this help out with your future install.
