So the knob is threaded it's not just the nut holding it in place some how? I am thinking of swapping the factory Si knob for a factory knob out of a RX-7 FC (Series 5) and wasn't sure it was going to fit. If it works I have a friend that's good with leather that would cover the old 7 knob in leather from an 08 Si shift boot.
