So at just over 4,000 miles and 5 months on my FA5 my driver side visor gave up the ghost last week. It was getting stiff until I realized the metal "clip" inside the visor wasn't moving and the plastic "clamshell" was! I'm 90 miles from the closest dealership and 110 miles away from the dealer I bought my Si at so I've got to figure out what the heck to do since I live in the sunniest place in the United States! I'm going to need to drive around with a stinkin' welding mask in the morning and evening pretty soon!
The TSB doesn't even list any 2008 FA5s so I wonder if they just haven't had enough people bring them back. The plastic used on them seems similar to the plastic used on the lower portions of our dash and door panels and is VERY soft with almost a Teflon feel to it. Wish I had visors like my '00 Accord.
