I've heard from someone that having coil overs in an area where there is snow and salt used is a bad idea. I live in northwestern, PA, where there can be a bit of snow and massive amounts of salt used. I heard that these conditions will cause corrosion and make the coil-overs basically useless.

Is this true? and if so is my best choice for a drop the HFP suspension kit, or a set of springs and upgrade the shocks when that time comes?
