This is correct. the sidemarkers on the FD2
are lower than the sidemarkers that are pictured. when I installed my sidemarkers, I went to great pains to ensure that they were essentially in the same location as CrackthatTec45's, JrMartinez's, and a couple of other members here.
Please note that in the DIY I suggest that since there is no incarnation of the FG2 with sidemarkers, you can essentially put them where you wish (as long as they are even) and you don't really need to follow my measurements.
