i think i understand all the wiring now for the most part after studying the wiring diagram. The only thing I am confused about is the steering wheel adapter. You say it only needs 3 wires but there are a ton coming out of the thing. Also, in the wiring diagram it only shows those 3 wires being connected as well. So whats with the big white adapter plugged into the steering wheel box?

Edit: A few more questions.

1. In your description you say to hook the black wire of the PAC to the brown wire of the honda 20 pin, but in the wiring diagram it also shows the black wire being split off and spliced into the ground wire on the black D3 plug. Is this necessary or does the black wire just need to go to the brown wire?

2. you say to connect the mute connection (yellow) and the parking brake connection (green) to ground, but in the wiring diagram it also shows to connect the ground of the metra adapter to the ground of the black D3 connector...is this necessary or did you just ground the metra black wire seperately?
