but one thing is for sure, its gonna wear your shocks faster coz you're pairing a progressive spring to a stock shock.

my guy at the dealer told me its ok to pair a lowering spring w/ stock shock for now since the shocks are new and can still tolerate the progressive spring. but then i'll have to replace it in 6-7 months coz he said he's pretty much sure by that time its already worn out.

my advice: go with eibach for a lower drop. i've seen people w/ stech and it looks like a stock ride (no offense to stech-ers) and while you enjoying your eibach i suggest save some money for full coilovers in the future or maybe just the aftermarket shocks (it's still under development as of today)
Wrong - progressive rate springs are 100% fine for stock struts. Eibach pro-kits and sportlines are both designed for use with stock struts. Progressive rate springs firm up when under load during cornering...this is why progressive rate springs are generally preferred for street use since they maintain near-stock ride quality yet are stiff enough for the drop they provide.

Many OEM springs are progressively wound.

For a track car, linear springs can be a better choice for consistency...
