I don't know what the fitment and clearance is like for DCRH, but if it's closer to the firewall or other components the issue could be engine movement. If the header is attached to the back of the engine and the engine twist along an axis under power it would move the header and exhaust along with it. I may only happen in reverse because the suspension loads in a different direction and could be shifting obstructions closer to one of the exhaust components that would move away from those components under forward motion. I dunno, just a theory.

If that were the case, you would have to either find the point of contact and add a buffering material or get stiffer engine mount bushings.
