According to Road & Track the Mugen Si is 15 pounds heavier than the standard FA5, not lighter. Road & track says the Mugen Si does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds and the standard FA5 does it in 6.8. The primary focus of the Mugen Si is handling and Looks. The Mugen Si stops 6 feet shorter from 60 and 9 feet shorter from 80, and pulls .05g more on the skid-pad and goes 1mph faster though the slalom, all thanks to better tires and suspension. Also the top speed is limited to 135 miles per hour vs. 129 for the FA5.
