The Civic Hybrid already has an alarm system. It's just not mentioned in the brochures:

Insurance Bureau of Canada.
Other details: The Canadian Civic Hybrid includes heated side-mirrors (activated with the rear window defrost) and washer fluid low sensor and larger reservoir, while the American Civic Hybrid has remote trunk opening on the key fob. I like that the washer fluid cap includes a dipstick.
