You should not worry.
A PC can't hurt your paint unless you KNOW how to wreck it.
If you have a PC, get some megs paint cleaner, use a polishing pad, spread it around on the lowest speed.. bump it up to 6 and work it around for a few minutes to allow the pad to generate some heat and work the cleaner in. You'll slowly start to see it go away, and then just wipe it clean.
Sometimes, it just needs some good work and not the big bucks.
