Opticon thought that they were replacing just the block, in which case they would have to swap the internals.
If the Honda techs have to assemble the short block, they would probably have to assemble the entire engine too if that's what they were replacing instead.
I was just pointing out that the labor is less either way.
HondaFREAK, it's a misnomer to refer to a "cracked short block". It's just a cracked block.
