you could have just installed it yourself, something as easy as base bushings/cable bushings and the short shfiter in it self is very easy to install, maybe an hour at most if your completely new to the whole DIY. The instructions are also very clear. Unless the shop did it for you for free, but I would never let anyone touch my car.

Oh and take out the rubber bushings.
