I plan on teaching my fiancee how to drive my car when shes ready. She said she wants to learn, but she'll let me know when shes ready

I let my dad drive me car a few weeks after i got it. I told him to let it go allt he way past 7k before shifting and he was like 'wtf? isnt that bad for the car!?' ... then vtec kicked in and he was like
... I have another friend that drove it and he was driving me insane. I told him to let it rev out, but he would shift JUST at 5800rpms... you could hear it start to crossover... but then it would go back down... it was like getting blueballs.
