this statement is completely incorrect. I have a 2006, and my transmission started kicking third back out
until I replaced the transmission fluid with Amsoil. I know of other members that own 2006 si's that also have problems with their transmissions.
the third gear problems are associated with the design of the six-speed transmission itself, and not the car.
