Your right, you didn't say any thing about R18vs.Si, but you did bring up an argument from last night after everyone else agreed to stop arguing. As for the mods and finacing. My car is not financed, I had $18,000 (don't ask me where I got it because it's non of your business). My choice was either buy an LX outright or get an Si and owe $6000. I chose the LX because the dealer had one I liked. None of the dealers in town had an Si. They said they could charge me $3000 to $3500 over sticker to put me on the waiting list, I said no and they said fine, no Si for you, they were in no hurry to sell one. I also chose the LX because I didn't want the added pressure of car payments (I'm a full time college student right now, I don't have a real job, just something to pay for gas and insurance.) I also chose the LX because I needed a car, so I didn't have time to sit on a waiting list. You asked before, why not some thing cheaper? Because I wanted a two door civic. I also wanted a manual. The dealer just happened to have
one on the lot that had just come off the truck. Also you seem to think that the vehicles cost was the only thing I am talking about when I say I couldn't afford it. My insurance company said that they would charge me $1000 more a year for an Si vs. an LX (probably because I'm a young male).
As far as the mods, I didn't buy them all at the same time, I bought them over a spread out period of time, whenever I got some extra cash, usually for christmas and birthdays.
