oh and the HIRs put only a few hundred less lumens than the HIDs (high beams are 2500 lumens, compared to a RELIABLE 35W hid kit, that is of 4300k thats 1000 less, but most of you will have 6000k which is actually putting out around 2700 lumens.... ) 50 Watt HIDs have insufficent testing so far, and while MOST produce WAY more lumens, their life expectancy is rather unknown

btw 900 lumens in a halogen is hardly 5x to make the HID lol
GOOD quality BRAND NAME hids @ 4300k produce 3200 lumens....
5x the 900 lumen output is actually 4500 lumens.... whered u get your math from? thats for a 55W halogen btw lol
at your math a halogen should only produce 640 lumens.... thats what your 40W incandescent creates..... oi veyyyyy
